Note from the Judge
I would like to take a quick moment to extend my personal gratitude and appreciation to all that entered the contests, and also attended the Creative Writing Workshop. ÊAll the stories submitted were delights to read, and final judging was actually very difficult, due to the fact that they each had a solid premise, an original environment, and could, with little effort, be finished into stand-alone stories, or expanded into larger tales with a bit more effort. And the monster offered has great potential, whether in literature or gaming environments, and has a nice comedic horror feel to it. ÊThanks so much for the great response and work put into this year's submissions.
